BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display and collaboration solutions, continues its long history of transforming meeting rooms into highly effective collaborative and interactive spaces with an all-new corporate interactive flat panel (IFP), the DuoBoard CP Series. DuoBoard is an all-in-one, 4K UHD premium interactive display specifically designed to allow all meeting participants to freely brainstorm, collaborate, and create on screen with built-in applications and cloud-based tools. For even more flexibility and room to multitask, organizations can connect two DuoBoards together to create an immersive, uninterrupted, interactive surface that's large enough for even the most demanding projects.

"Meeting rooms today are high-value spaces that must be incredibly functional and easy to use as well as prepared to scale to any number of project requirements," said Penny Su, business unit director for BenQ America Corp. "DuoBoard fully tackles the barriers standing in the way of productive remote collaboration sessions that must include several presenters, sources, and applications. Whether they need one or two DuoBoards, users have all the room and flexibility they need to launch a video conference while simultaneously sharing, creating, and interacting with a variety of content."

One Surface, Unlimited Possibilities
Winner of AV Technology's InfoComm 2020 Best of Show Award, DuoBoard allows users to do more with a single flat panel or combine two DuoBoards for one uninterrupted collaboration space. The 4K UHD IFP is available in 65-inch and 86-inch models and leverages BenQ's years of expertise in developing accurate Capacitive-Touch Technology that grants 20 points of simultaneous touch. The germ-resistant screen, certified by the Society of Industrial Technology for Antimicrobial Articles, is made up of a multilayer coating of the nontoxic, enduring nanoionic silver agent, which kills most germs accumulating on screen surfaces and prevents cross-infection or epidemics. Additionally, BenQ's Eye-Care solution ensures everyone's eyes are protected from blue light, glare, and flicker. The Duo Windows feature enables multiple participants to work on two tasks at the same time and on a single IFP, doubling efficiency. For example, they can compare two documents, write meeting minutes during a video conference, search for information while brainstorming, open an Android app with other input source data, and much more. In addition, Duo OS switches seamlessly between various operating systems for more collaboration and achieves cross-platform compatibility between Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows OS.

Instant Meetings Without the Wait — or Frustration
DuoBoard incorporates Zoom Rooms to modernize corporate conference rooms and personal offices for efficient and effortless interactive telecommunication. BenQ displays with Zoom Rooms will enable remote screen sharing, content collaboration, and whiteboarding with notes through OPS. CP series is also compatible with most popular video conference platforms, including Google Meet, GoToMeeting, and more. Featuring a built-in, full-HD video camera, two 10W loudspeakers and a 16W subwoofer, and a six-microphone array, the DuoBoard is ready without additional AV components.

Feels as Natural as Operating a Mobile Device

Designed around BenQ's cloud-based EZWrite 5.0 platform, every tool needed to conduct imaginative and productive brainstorming sessions on the DuoBoard is just a click away. EZWrite 5 streamlines discussions by letting participants share notes and ideas from anywhere. From the Floating Tool, users simply select to write on top of any app, video, website, document, or image and then save the annotation. With their fingers, participants can use screen capture to select all or part of the screen. What's more, with the EZWrite Cloud Whiteboard, employees can collect, categorize, edit, and share notes between the IFP and their mobile devices or laptops, ensuring they'll have access to their important materials from anywhere. EZWrite 5 comes with dual pens that allow two users to write or draw simultaneously with different colors, making it ideal for multiple presenters. The handwriting recognition feature instantly converts written text, numbers, forms, and drawings into easily legible digital text.

Four-Way Split-Screen = Powerful Contribution
BenQ's DuoBoard comes with the company's wireless presentation technology, InstaShare, built in. Part of BenQ's family of top-reviewed and highly secure InstaShow hardware-based screen-sharing solutions, InstaShare enables two-way mirroring between the IFP and mobile devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops, eliminating the need to pass around video cables and supporting safe social distancing. InstaShare also supports two-way touch control on Windows and macOS platforms, which means both the IFP and the device can control or interact with what is being mirrored. The software mirrors up to four attendee screens at once with synchronized, lag-free audio and video streams. It also instantly switches between additional devices. To manage the meeting and ensure it goes smoothly, the centrally controlled system regulates who can connect and mirror content.

Management Tools for Users and Administrators
The DuoBoard is designed to be as easy to use as a participant's own personal device. With BenQ's exclusive Account Management System (AMS), employees can save materials to their personal or departmental cloud account, including Google Drive and Dropbox, and access them directly from the BenQ IFP. DuoBoard also supports multi-account management through NFC technology, which allows users to personalize their DuoBoard settings and workspace with a swipe of their badge or keyboard. In addition, tech managers and IT administrators can remotely control a fleet of IFPs installed throughout a building using BenQ's Device Management System (DMS). DMS is an effective way to remotely turn on and off IFPs, lowering total cost of ownership and energy consumption; install Android apps for a selection of displays through the DMS cloud server; and perform over-the-air (OTA) updates with OTA Update support to keep every display running smoothly at all times.
