The Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM)’s Asia Contents Awards (ACA) calls for applications of outstanding Asian content from TV, OTT, and other diverse platforms. ACA 2021 is open until Thursday, July 15th.
Content including TV, OTT drama series, animation, short-form, and web drama throughout Asia is open for submissions of the 3rd Asia Contents Awards until July 15 online.
The Asia Contents Awards (ACA) is an award ceremony for outstanding TV, OTT drama series and other diverse platforms’ content throughout Asia.
Celebrating its third edition, the ACA has expanded the submissions of content to animation, short-form, and web drama series in addition to TV, OTT drama series. Accordingly, the awards categories have been added which include Best OTT Original, Best Asian Animation, and Best Short-form / Web Drama. It is comprised in total of 14 categories; 10 competition titles (6 Program Awards, 4 Individual Awards) as well as 4 Invitation Awards such as Lifetime Achievement Award and ACA Excellence Award.
As a total content market, ACFM was to solidify its foundation by encompassing every audiovisual content from film to OTT, Web drama series distributed on TV, OTT, and other diverse platforms worldwide.
ACA has nominated 28 works from 12 countries to compete among 75 submissions accepted from 17 countries last year. The winners from previous edition are The World of the Married (JTBC Studios, Korea), The Bad Kids (iQIYI, China), When the Camellia Blooms (KBS, Korea) and Kingdom Season 2 which has received the global acclaim and drew attention winning 2 awards of Best Writer, Kim Eunhee and the Best Actor, Ju Jihoon. Furthermore, the ceremony presented a new aspect of the award in the era of New Normal, hosting it as hybrid event.
