Peach Airline, which has bases at Kansai International Airport and Naha Airport, currently operates 12 domestic and 13 international flights. At the end of this month, two domestic and international flights based on Sendai will be added, respectively, so it will have 29 routes in total.

In particular, Peach Airline has decided to make its first international destination to Korea, and as of the 5th anniversary of its launch, seven flights are operated through Incheon International Airport and Gimhae Airport every day.

Starting with Seoul(Incheon) to Osaka(Kansai) flights in May 2012, Peach Airline has been used by more than 2.45 million passengers over the past five years in Korea. In particular, the number of passengers increased by about three times compared to the first year on the basis of safety as a top priority of flight quality and reasonable prices. Therefore, it is considering the establishment of base airports in the Asian region including Korea, and it plans to play a role as its motto, 'Asia Bridge' by expanding the market between Korea and Japan.

▲ With the rapid growth of Korea route's performance, it also contributes to the creation of Korean jobs through the recruitment of Korean crew.

▲ As an advance guard for attracting foreigners who visit Japan, Peach Airline is optimizing the overall strategy.

Shinichi Inoue, CEO of Peach Airline, said, "It is no exaggeration to say that Korea is the key market for Peach Airline to be the first international airline destination and it is the driving force behind the remarkable growth of the Peach brand." And, "We will work hard to enhance the enjoyment and benefits of traveling in Japan through various promotional plans as well as reinforcement of service for customer convenience improvement such as call center system renewal."

At the Q&A session after the presentation, Acrofan asked if there is an increase plan for the number of flights regarding the opening of Incheon International Airport Terminal 2, and as for the trend of rapidly increasing number of passengers, if the company is going to carry out two-track strategy like competitors by operating the aircraft with higher class of weight in addition to the current Airbus A320-200. Shinichi Inoue, CEO of Peach Airline, answered, "I am glad to hear that the number of Incheon International Airport slots will continue to increase. If we have the opportunity to increase flights in the future, we would like to consider it positively." Also, he said, "Regarding the model policy, there is no plan to buy another model so far. We will continue to pursue the policy of operating a unified model in the future."

Meanwhile, Peach Airline started to operate an independent system under the mission of Peach in May 2011, after the establishment of the LCC joint project preparation room in All Nippon Airways (ANA). In March of the following year, Osaka(Kansai) - Sapporo(New Chitose) and Fukuoka routes will start operating. Currently, there are four routes in Korea: Seoul(Incheon) - Osaka(Kansai), Okinawa(Naha), Tokyo(Haneda) and Busan - Osaka(Kansai).
